A-2: MEPCO Tariff Commercial Category

This category is for small shops, industries, and small businesses. Every commercial consumer in this group pays a fixed meter rent of 1,000 PKR. These charges apply to all consumers in this category, including shops, small businesses, and offices.

  • 1–50 Units – 36 PKR/unit
  • 51–100 Units – 60 PKR/unit

Category A-3: Zero Units Consumed

This category includes consumers who use no electricity in a month. Regardless of zero consumption, they still have to pay a fixed charge based on their consumer type.

  • Residential consumers pay between 175 and 350 PKR per month.
  • Commercial consumers pay 1,400 PKR per month, which includes the meter rent and other taxes.
